1. Your Agreement

By accessing or using the Owomi application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this application.

2. Description of Service

Owomi is a personal and shared finance tracking application that helps you track expenses, income, and savings. The App may also provide AI-powered financial insights and recommendations. While we strive for precision, financial markets are inherently volatile. The insights provided are for educational and tracking purposes only and do not constitute professional financial advice.

3. Account Stewardship

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Any activity occurring under your account is your responsibility. We employ industry-standard security measures to protect your data, but no system is entirely infallible. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Owomi offers both free and premium tiers. Premium features are available through the following subscription options:

• Monthly — Billed monthly, cancel anytime
• Annual — Billed annually at a discounted rate
• Lifetime — One-time purchase for permanent access

All purchases are processed through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Subscription renewals are handled by the respective platform. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's store settings.

A 7-day free trial may be offered to new users. After the trial period, you will not be charged unless you explicitly choose a paid plan.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Transmit harmful, fraudulent, or deceptive content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the App
• Reverse engineer a part of the App

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software — are the exclusive property of Owomi and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Limitation of Liability

Owomi is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App.

In particular, we are not responsible for any financial decisions you make based on data or insights provided by the App.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time from within the App (Profile → Delete Account). Upon termination, your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
